This workshop is designed for beginners, bread lovers, and especially for those who want to spend a few meaningful hours in a small group of like-minded people.
Who will be teaching
The workshop is led by me, Codruța – founder of Codru de Pâine, where I work exclusively with natural sourdough and slow fermentation processes, developed and refined over years of practice.
What we’ll cover
We’ll go step by step through the full sourdough process:
- how to start a sourdough starter from scratch
- how to feed and maintain it
- essential tools you actually need
- mixing the dough and understanding fermentation
- shaping artisan loaves
- cold fermentation
- scoring and baking
- how to store your bread properly
There will be time to ask questions, understand the process, and not just follow it.
Duration
3 hours, from 2-5 pm
What you’ll take home
- active sourdough starter
- a banneton
- flour for maintaining your starter
- plus the full hands-on experience of making your own bread
We’ll also enjoy tea or coffee together and bake something sweet during the workshop.
